The MediaLight Mk2 has long been trusted for its precision and reliability in color-critical environments. With the MediaLight Mk2 v2, we’ve refined everything that made the original an essential part of your viewing setup, focusing on the details that matter most to our users.

We’ve improved uniformity, expanded the dimming range to 150 flicker-free levels, and made the circuitry more efficient for better performance across a wide range of use cases. We also listened to your feedback on installation, including a new residue-free nano tape option that’s easy to remove without leaving marks. (Please note that, in rare cases, some lighter-colored plastics or lacquers may oxidize visibly when uncovered during long-term use and may appear lighter than tape-covered areas; any resulting marks are not due to residue or damage).

In short, the MediaLight Mk2 v2 is a refined version of the product you already trust, with the most-requested improvements built right in.

Due to the extensive enhancements in the MediaLight Mk2 v2, we've compiled a comprehensive breakdown of all improvements. Read it on our blog.

The MediaLight Mk2 v2 Series continues to deliver the highly accurate Simulated D65 “dim surround” bias light that professionals rely on. It’s designed to provide an unparalleled bias lighting solution for the most demanding professional video editing and home cinema applications.

The MediaLight Mk2 v2 combines ultra-high CRI and color temperature accuracy with the convenience of a USB-powered LED system. With upgraded flicker-free dimming, enhanced adhesive, and instant warmup, your surround light is always perfectly tuned.

It's time to stop living (or, at least, watching TV) in the darkness!

"Simply put, the MediaLight Mk2 Flex does the job exactly as it says it will. I measured the performance with CalMAN and an i1Pro2 spectrometer, and it was right by the D65 white point and had the broadest spectral response of any light I have measured to date."

Note: This quote pertains to the original Mk2 Flex version. The Mk2 v2 surpasses the specifications of the first version.
